Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Ross, Calif.
Price: $10,950,000
The Skinny: Located on a 2.3-acre lot in Marin County, this turn-of-the-century American Arts and Crafts mansion is one of the finest of its genre available in this pricey area. Inhabited by the same family for the past 20 years, the house has only had three owners since it was built in 1895, but is far from antiquated. The current owner—who may, or may not, also own a design shop nearby—has outfitted the 8,300-square-foot manse with casual slip-covered furniture and pops of color, a far cry from the Stickley that most likely stocked the place. There are some remnants of the past to be found on the estate however, like a three-stall barn. One very modern aspect of this seven-bedroom sprawler is the price, a hefty $10.95M. The location, very close to the Ross School and in one of the North Bay's most coveted neighborhood, is mostly to blame.
