Chatham Preservation Award Winner Hits The Market Again, Now Asking $3.25M

This in town Victorian won a 2008 Chatham Preservation Award after a 2007 renovation. Built in 1881, the home includes six bedrooms, six and one half baths in 4,238 sq. ft. The main level features a chef's kitchen with top of the line appliances and finishes, a dining room, living room, family room, office/bedroom with ensuite bath plus two half baths. The second floor includes three bedrooms and three baths. There's yet another bedroom on the third floor with views of Oyster Pond. But wait, there's more! "The perfect guest suite" is located above the two car garage and back in the main house, the lower level is "mostly finished beautifully appointed" with a wine cellar and half bath. There's an outdoor shower and the property has a seasonal rental history of $10K per week.

The property has had a busy time off and on the market since 2009 (when it looks like it might have sold, but it's not clear to us). It was last taken off the market in December 2011 with a $3,195,000 asking price. This time around, the sellers have given the ask an optimistic priceupper to $3,250,000.
