Neighborly Beefs

What's up with former MLB first baseman John Olerud these days? Whereas the view of home plate was once his chief concern, now the retired Mariner is focusing his sights—trying to, at least—on loftier places. He's even taken to quoting the bible—"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and strength, and your neighbor as yourself"—in hopes of getting his neighbor to cut down the Chinese pine that blocks his view of Seattle and the Olympic Mountains. The Seattle Times has the ridiculous story. [ST via Zillow Blog]
