Harry Potter Author J.K. Rowling Lists Excess Scottish Manse

Now that plans for a massively expensive 40-foot-tall Harry Potter-themed kids' playhouse have been approved for the backyard of one of her two Edinburgh estates, J.K. Rowling has put the other one on the market. According to the Huffington Post, the author of the best-selling books series in history is asking £2.25M ($3.7M) for the 18th-century home, which has eight bedrooms, a disappointing zero secret passageways or magic rooms, and sits on a gated property with gardens. Last summer, Rowling's childhood home in England came on the market, as well.
