Rising demands for real estate in Hong Kong have left some people in the dust, particularly one 62-year-old man who has profited handsomely from buying "stigmatized properties"—literally, haunted houses, or hongza—for cheap and renting them out to the un-superstitious. Said one former tenant, "It was a great location, with a rooftop garden. I'd live with a ghost for that price." [WSJ]
