Beetle Juice

Folks in Aspen and elsewhere in Colorado are hoping the recent cold snap is cold enough to kill some of the pine beetles that have killed 4 million acres of the state's forests. Overall populations of pine beetles have decreased in the past two years since so many mature trees (i.e., food) have died. [Aspen Times]
