The Skinny: It may look like something out of "13th-century France," but this 10,000-square-foot chateau is located in Wisconsin, on the outskirts of Milwaukee, and was built just six years ago. Designed by architectural historian Russell Zimmermann, the sprawling Francophiles paradise was the brainchild of a Milwaukee surgeon and his wife, but now the pair have listed the property for $3.5M. That price is astronomically high for the area, but it reflects the high level of craftsmanship that went into creating this convincing reproduction.
