Former Yankee Pitcher's WA 3 BR Sells For Half List Price

Former relief pitcher Jeff Nelson may be wishing he spent a few more seasons throwing that slider now that his custom-built log cabin near the Bavarian-theme village of Leavenworth, Washington has closed for only $575,000. The December sale brought in less than half the original $1,195,000 asking price from when the 3,665 square foot home first went on the market in 2010. Whatever the case, some lucky sap just picked up a cute piece of celebrity real estate that doubles as a ski home only thirty minutes from one of Washington's unsung powder paradises, Steven's Pass.
