Chapman She Wrote

For those trying to follow a deeply confusing and conflicted thread through the history of Tom Chapman's real estate dealings, this 2010 Denver Post article has a great summary at the bottom. It goes back to 1984, when Chapman threatened to build 132 homes on 4,200 acres in the same Black Canyon National Park, which eventually forced the hand of Park Service, which paid $500 an acre to Chapman compared to the initial $210 an acre appraisal.
