"About five homes, mostly in exclusive neighborhoods, have been stripped of their copper gutters and downspouts in a series of recent thefts, according to the Barnstable police. In the last two or three weeks, homes on Seaview Avenue, and Eel River and Parker roads have been robbed of their copper, which is used to make high-end gutters and downspouts." We would just file this one under rich people's problems, but it turns out the thieves don't stop at copper - they want it all, from outdoor shower piping to catalytic converters. [Cape Cod Times]
