Last week Curbed Ski offered up our take on the 5 Best Ski Pizzerias in Colorado. It seems our readers enjoy a slice of pizza and a beer after skiing because many of you commented on the good, bad, and the ugly of Rocky Mountain pies. The Secret Stash has long been a Crested Butte favorite but since it moved to a new, much larger location, the verdict is still out. One Crested Butte local loves the Stash's new spot, saying that there is a "cool vibe," triple the pizza making capacity, and the same delicious pizza as before. But another pizza addict disagrees, writing that they "had the worst slices of our lives last week at the Stash...R.I.P. I won't be back." Aspen's Brunelleshi's also received mixed comments, with some claiming it has "fabulous pizza" and "the best thin crust pizza on the planet" while another reader asserted that New York Pizza in Aspen was the only spot to visit. Thanks to all who commented, Curbed Ski has a new list of pizza places to check out. Readers recommended Breckenridge's Downstairs at Eric's, Winter Park's Hernando's, White House Pizza in Carbondale, and Leadville's High Mountain Pies. Stay tuned for an updated list of the best pizza in the Centennial State.
