The mighty Red Mountain Resort in Rossland BC, Canada is upping their game with a huge construction project currently underway. Think Breckenridge's new Peak 6 expansion is impressive? Red Mountain is adding not only a new four man chairlift, but also 997 more acres of terrain to make them one of the largest resorts in North America. The lift tops out at the summit of Grey Mountain and once skiers exit the lift they will be able to ski 360 degrees of inbounds, avalanche controlled goodness. Construction is going along as planned and on October 9 they were working on installing the lift towers. Check out the photos of this massive project; all 22 new runs will be ready to ride this season. · Red Mountain Going Grey [Powder Magazine]
