A fight is brewing in Beaver Creek, Colorado over plans for an "amusement park" at the base of the resort. A collection of homeowners plan to file a lawsuit against Vail Resorts to oppose the construction of zip lines, rope courses, tubing hills, and a raised alpine slide. Homeowners believe the new facilities are "off-brand" for the posh ski area. The summer amenities would be within earshot and might be able to be seen from the hot tubs or decks of top dollar ski in/ski out properties. [The Denver Post]
