Contemporary architecture greats Frank Gehry and Norman Foster are combining forces to transform London's Battersea Power Station—defunct since 1983—as a retail space. Gehry's firm hopes "to create a design that is uniquely London, that respects and celebrates the historical vernacular of the city." Hmm.
