LOS ANGELES—This week the Hurley House, a 1958 time capsule designed by Greta Magnusson Grossman, will open its doors for an estate sale of furniture and home decor. The brokers are no doubt hopeful that chair shoppers will turn into house hunters: the place is on the market for $1.795M. Sale runs Oct. 11 through 13. [Succor Estate Sales previously]
LOS ANGELES—Though Heidi Klum has shown interest in the property, Katy Perry has yet again PriceChopped the L.A. manse she bought with her now ex, Russell Brand, and never actually lived in. The pop star originally wanted $6.95M for the 8,835-square-foot mansion, then slashed it to $6.495M, and is now asking $5.988M. Not that lack of a sale has debilitated her: in May, Perry dropped $11.2M on two adjoining houses in Beverly Hills. [Trulia Luxe Living; previously]
