The Skinny: The Fairfield, Conn. estate of former Lehman Brothers co-chief operating officer Bradley Jack has hit the market for $62M after it narrowly avoided being sold at a municipal auction last March. Jack, who left Lehman in 2005 with an $80M severance package, allegedly failed to pay property taxes on the enormous, 20-acre waterfront estate for more than a year dating back to July 2011, and was also arrested twice for allegedly forging drug prescriptions during that time. The tax problem got straightened out at the last minute, though, and Jack agreed to enter treatment, which means that the worst days for this estate—which includes a 17,000-square-foot Elizabethan Revival-style manor house, a six-bedroom Victorian gatehouse, a barn, a tennis court, a heated pool, and numerous outbuildings—are behind it.
