Mitt Romney Buys "Rustic" Mansion in Park City

New, 1 comment

Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney has reportedly bought a mountain-themed, slope-side mansion in Deer Valley, Utah. Although Mitt grew up in Detroit, the Romneys have long had a presence in Park City real estate, buying their first properties in the 1990s. Utah is a nondisclosure state so no word yet on how much their most recent purchase sold for, but it was listed at $8.9 million. The "Utah Rustic" mountain home by architect Fred Babcock is your everyday log cabin with almost 9,000 square feet, 6 bedrooms, and 8 bathrooms. Watch out for the Romney family on the slopes because the house also includes ski-in/ski-out access to the Success Ski Trail at Deer Valley. Other amenities include an outdoor deck with mountain views, a hot tub, and a two story great room with a massive stone fireplace to warm those politician toes. · Romneys, in return to Park City, buy Deer Valley mansion [The Park Record]
