Ski towns near national parks have been feeling the brunt of the government shutdown, but in Colorado the management of other federal public lands is also hurting. With federal agencies controlling 36.6% or 14.5 million acres of public land in the Centennial state, activity has halted at campgrounds, some ski areas, sawmills, and logging operations.
