Celebrity chef David Burke is on schedule to open a clone of his New York restaurant David Burke Kitchen in Aspen. The restaurant is currently under construction on the second floor of a brand new, 21,452-sqaure-foot building at the corner of Hopkins Avenue and Galena Street. Diners can expect a meat-centric menu with dry-aged meats like venison, elk, and wild boar. There will also be a wood-fired oven and an outdoor patio that's sure to stir up more controversy over noise levels in downtown Aspen. Construction photos to come.
