Ski resort operator Intrawest Resorts registered today for an initial public offering to raise as much as $100 million. The Denver company relocated its headquarters from Canada in 2011 and now operates Winter Park, Steamboat, Mount Tremblant, Stratton, and Snowshoe Mountain. The resort intends to use the proceeds from the offering to invest in its current ski areas and to acquire new ski and adventure travel businesses and assets. [Denver Business Journal]
