This 100-Year-Old War Veteran Skis Better Than You

Curbed Ski is taking a quick break from Renter's Week coverage to bring you a feel-good story about a man who even at 100 years old, kicks ass. On Tuesday, November 19th, Charles Elliott celebrated his 100th birthday by skiing at Colorado's Wolf Creek Ski Area. One of the pioneers in San Juan skiing and a founder of Wolf Creek, Mr. Elliott is also a member of the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and a lifetime member of the National Ski Patrol. He's skied every year since 1934 except for the five years when he served in the US Air Force during World War II. Want to be as cool as this American hero? Ski on your 100th birthday.
