We headed to the Mid-Cape, to the town of Dennis to be exact, to find the high and low of beachfront rentals. So what can $1,300 and $20,000 a week get you? It turns out both the cheapest and priciest temporary digs offer renters a private sandy beach and margaritas. What more do you need?
Here's the cheapest place on the beach we came across. This West Dennis abode is available year round from $300 to $1,300 per week. Naturally, the priciest time to "hear the waves breaking on the beach from your bedroom" are from late June through the end of August. The 1BD, 1BA is part of a "seven private bedroom" condominium association, which we take to mean everything else in the residence - kitchen, dining room, etc. - are shared. Hmm. Anyway, the property also comes with its own private, 300' beach on Nantucket Sound and essentials like cable TV and "a blender for your margaritas!"
