Many renters hope to only encounter a broker if it's absolutely necessary, or once every few years at the most. It's easy to grouse against broker's fees and the like, but why not try to see things from their perspective? Just for a minute—or three. (Bear with us.) Curbed's video team tagged along with Aash Jethra, salesperson with Citi Habitat in NYC, to see how he spends a typical day. While showing a client several apartments, he tries to find listings that will suit all her needs, from adequate closet space to a satisfactory kitchen. Will he succeed?
