Inside Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen's Boho Ranch

New, 5 comments

Is it really any surprise that unreasonably good looking couple Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have an unreasonably good-looking home? Designed by Kishani Perera—whose recent work includes de-beiging Molly Sim's Beverly Hills abode—the former O.C. star and Star Wars actor's pad reflects the desires of "midcentury-leaning minimalist" and "a girl with more bohemian tastes." Lonny got a peek at the interiors and indeed, the couple's home has a decidedly earthy element to it, with a low-slung coffee table made from old barn wood, geode knickknacks, and potted succulents aplenty—all of which sort of make the place resemble an Anthropologie catalog.

Perera also made room for one-time dinnerware-designer Bilson's most beloved mermaid sculpture, "pride and joy" vintage portrait and—lest her beau feel left out—a collection of Christensen's framed prints. Paired with a lush, velvet sofa and vintage arm chairs, the space is unfussy, never insistent on one specific style. "People are complex," explains Perrera, "They're not all midcentury or bohemian, for example, so I try to find the full picture [with clients]. Old and new, different cultures, it's a big mixing bowl to me." Lonny has the full story, right this way.
