Copper Mountain Opens First Olympic Superpipe of Season

Copper Mountain just announced that they are opening their Olympic-sized superpipe today, Wednesday, November 27. This is the first Olympic superpipe to open in North America, at 500 feet long, 62 feet wide, and 22 feet tall. Olympic hopefuls training for Sochi will have daily private training on the superpipe in the morning through January, but the public can ride the pipe from 12:30 to 4:00 pm daily. Don't feel like taking on the superpipe but still want to watch future Olympians? Check out the view from Jack's deck located in the Center Village base area.
