Jackson Hole's Snake River Sporting Club Reopens

The Snake River Sporting Club, which fell into foreclosure in 2010 after developing a Tom Weiskopf-designed golf course, clubhouse, and 68 residential lots, officially reopened at the end of October. Atlanta based Cygnus Capital bought the property in February and has invested millions to complete the 26,000-square-foot clubhouse and reboot the development's facilities. The newly finished clubhouse includes a sports shop, restaurant, locker room, outdoor deck, and concierge services. The property hopes to reopen the championship golf course in May 2014 and debut a collection of luxury "cabins" next year. Whether or not $2.5 million, 4,700-square-foot homes should be called rustic "cabins," the formerly neglected property has certainly cleaned out the cobwebs. · Sporting Club bought by Atlanta investors [JH Property Guide]
