Originally listed at $75 million earlier this year, this Lake Tahoe estate just sold for a whopping $27 million off the list price. A replica of the S.S. Titantic grand staircase is one of the crazy amenities in "Tranquility," which was originally built by Tommy Hilfiger co-founder Joel Horowitz. Located just 10 minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort, the 27,000 square foot mansion is on an unheard of 210 acres of lakefront property. If the Titanic doesn't do it for you, there's also a cigar lounge fashioned after New York's famed St. Regis Hotel. Other absurd amenities include pools, lakes, pavilions, billiards, basketball courts, and the like. Any property can have a wine cellar and a few horse stables, but Tranquility also has two over-the-water par 3 golf holes and an elaborate custom piano encrusted with gold and jewels. No word who is behind the Tranquil Investments LLC that bought the property for $48 million, making it one of the most expensive real estate listings to ever sell in Tahoe.
