The Wall Street Journal, supreme authority on the consumption patterns of the fabulously spendy, recently published a piece all about Turkey's yali mansions, stately waterside manors on the Bosporus strait in Istanbul, revealing a few more details about the country's elegant Zeki Pasha estate, on the market for $115M. Per the WSJ, it was "built in the 19th century in Rumelihisari, the narrowest point of the Bosporus, near a historic castle" and is the most expensive yali listed. Photos, this way. [WSJ; previously]
