Vail's Most Expensive Listing Just Chopped $3 M off Price

New, 1 comment

Previously listed for $25 million, Vail's most expansive mansion just chopped $3 million off its asking price. The 6 bedroom, 8 bathroom manse has over 6,500 square feet and is mere steps from the Bear Tree ski run. There's even a private tram, or funicular, that whisks homeowners into Vail Village. Despite the risk of trespassing, Curbed Ski hasn't been able to get photos of the elusive private tram, but this listing still tops Vail's real estate market even after the price chop. There's not much it doesn't have, with a gourmet kitchen, wet bar, game room, and wine closet. The best feature is definitely the warming hut with ski slope views. So why the $3 million dollar blowout sale? Our safest guess is the overdone decorating and designer's penchant for wallpaper, yuck.
