The Quotable Andrea Bocelli

Today in the Journal: a lovely piece in which opera phenom Andrea Bocelli describes his Tuscan home, and how he appreciates it despite being blind. "The villa is elegant but certainly not pretentious, and I feel as though the house looks like me," Bocelli writes, adding, "We chose natural materials for the interior, such as marble and inlaid wood flooring. We also have white painted-wood window frames and whitewashed walls and ceilings." [WSJ]
