In the nearly two years Kurt Warner has had his Paradise Valley, Ariz., home listed for $5M, the former NFL quarterback has tried to get it sold in a number of ways—without actually getting rid of the crazy '80s bachelor-pad decor. He allowed the local news station ABC15 to film a segment there, and he allowed HGTV to feature the digs in an episode of the network's Celebrity Holiday Homes special in December. With no takers, Warner's 11,300-square-foot mansion, completed by Arizona architect Edward Chavez in 2001, will hit the auction block on Feb. 27 without a reserve. Stop by this Sunday, though, for what the marketing team is billing as the "Ultimate Super Bowl Open House," meaning one can tour the property and then plop down in front of the Super Bowl. Yes, obviously giving people the opportunity to watch the big game in the home of someone who's actually played in the big game is a surefire way to convince them to buy real estate. No word whether Warner and his wife, Brenda, will be on hand to refill the beers and chips.
