Interior designers often find themselves in spaces regular people don't ever get to see, whether it's client houses with Picasso and hand-painted wallpapers, stunning showhouses erected to further a magazine's presence, trade-only showrooms in major cities, or, well, their own, perfectly appointed homes with nary an Ikea piece in sight. Then again, maybe they just have the eye—and the power of Instagram filters—to make a bunch of otherwise boring frame samples actually look stylish.
