? We begin in North Truro with a 2BR, 1BA cottage on Beach Point that sleeps up to four. Located across the street from Cape Cod Bay, the water view property features access to a sandy swimming beach. In addition, the recently remodeled cottage has views of historic Pilgrim Lake and the dunes.

? "Leave the granite and stainless at home, and enjoy your vacation in one of the original cottages at Popponesset Beach." Translation: this 2BR, 1BA isn't lacking in knotty pine. The Mashpee cottage sleeps six and includes access to a private association beach on Nantucket Sound. Available for $1,400-$1,600 per week.

? Over in Edgartown we find a 3BR, 1BA cottage with beach access. Located on Edgartown Great Pond, the six acre property features a private boat landing and use of two kayaks. The rental can accomodate up to six and is available in June or September for $1,600 per week.

? Here's a Centerville ranch that's within walking distance of Wequaquet Lake, a 654 acre warmwater pond. The 2BR, 1BA sleeps six and features access to a lakefront beach area via a private path.
