Officials are floating a plan for Tahoe's largest ecosystem restoration project ever, which would better connect the Upper Truckee River to the 600-acre Upper Truckee Marsh. The river was diverted in the 50's for construction of the Tahoe Keys development, and officials hope putting the river's course back through the marsh will help lake clarity by filtering out fine sediment from the river.
