American ski icon Lindsey Vonn is out for the rest of the 2013 ski season after falling on the first day of the Alpine Ski World Championships in Austria. Vonn tore her ACL and MCL and fractured the upper end of her shin bone. While media speculation is now rampant as to whether Vonn will be back for the Sochi Olympics, the 12 months ahead should give her plenty of time to recover. [CNN]
