What $2,000/Week Can Rent You Around The Cape & Islands

It's time once again for Curbed Comparisons, where we break down what you can get at the same price point, style or size in five different Cape and Islands neighborhoods. This week, summer rentals for $2,000/week.

? We begin in Oak Bluffs with a 2BR, 1BA ocean front cottage with views of Nantucket Sound and a private stretch of sandy beach. Located close to both Edgartown and Oak Bluffs, the property can accommodate up to four and rents for $2,000-$2,500 a week.

? Still on the Vineyard, this time in Vineyard Haven, we find a 2BR, 2BA cottage that accommodates four. There's no need for a car since the property is a five-minute walk to the center of town, the ferry, the harbor, beach, and all-island buses. Built in 2006, the cottage rents for $2,020/week in July and August.

? Back on the Cape in Orleans, we find a 4BR, 2BA. The residence sleeps eight and is available for $2,200 a week as a Sunday to Sunday rental. The property is a short distance to Orleans center, the bike trail and Skaket Beach.

? This West Hyannisport cottage with 3BR, 1.5BA sleeps six. A Barnstable beach pass is provided with the $1,850 per week rental and the property is "just blocks to a private beach."

? Over on Nantucket, we find a 1BR, 2BA house located in the Brant Point historical district. The residence sleeps two and is available for $2,100 a week. The property is within walking distance to town and the beach.
