Sequester Watch

Grand Teton National Park laid out how it plans to achieve the $700,000 budget cut imposed on it by the recent sequestration. More than half of it will come from a 20% cut in seasonal employee numbers. The rest will come from holding off on purchasing updated equipment, opening some park roads only when they melt out from the winter, and reduced hours and closures at some visitors' centers.
