Macau Skyline Inspires World's Largest Rubik's Cube Mosaic

The brainiac artists/architects/evil geniuses at the Toronto-based firm Cube Works Studio have set a new world record for the largest mosaic ever to be constructed from Rubik's Cubes. Recently unveiled in Macau—whose architecture inspired the project to begin with—the canvas, standing 13 feet high and more than 200 feet wide, is comprised of 85,794 appropriately twisted cubes, more than seven times the number they used to set the previous record with a 12,090-cube replica of the Sistine Chapel.
