Live Out HBO's Girls in a 'Trendy But Trashy' Brooklyn Pad

New, 4 comments

Two friends living together in a "livable and trendy but trashy-enough-to-complain-about" apartment in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood have posted an ad on Craigslist in search of a roommate who has a dream to live as Marnie or Shoshanna of HBO's Girls, "getting drunk and re-watching '90s TV shows" and "gallery openings that are incredibly meaningful to us on a deep personal level" included. For those who fit that bill, one of your future roommates is "everything you might want in a roommate: neurotic, judgmental, and certainly more attractive than you" with "a penchant for backhanded compliments." The other identifies as an artist with a "fashion sense of a homeless kindergartener."

Now, about the room itself: "There's a window. What more are you looking for? Okay; if you're interested, I'll send you photos or whatever, but they're going to be instagramed." As details on the actual living space are scarce, it's unclear if this place has the drab appeal of Hannah's apartment or, as design blogger Raina Cox once put it, the "undying devotion to Apartment Therapy craftulence" of Shoshanna's feminine digs.
