Conservation Watch

Since being on the Endangered Species list, the number of grizzly bears in Greater Yellowstone has recovered from 200 to over 600, and in the past three years, there have been four fatal attacks on humans. In the 24 years prior, there were zero. Wyoming wants the bear delisted and hunting to be OK'd, but conservationists still consider the bear's recovery "precarious." [Outside Magazine]
