If Facebook Made Houses, Here's What They'd Look Like

New, 1 comment

Yesterday Facebook unveiled "Home," an Android app that swaps out the standard home screen for a Facebook-centric interface. The news—and somewhat misleading name—inspired the folks over at The Joy of Tech to craft some highly technical and thoroughly peer-reviewed blueprints of what an actual Facebook 'home' might look like, and, well, let's just say it's nothing like actual houses of Facebook's honchos, nor the Gehry-designed sprawl of the company's forthcoming campus. Included in the design, spotted on Gizmodo: Facebook "walls" for every room partition, an attic filled with app developers "who are always sneaking down and raiding your fridge," a kitchen table with a "built-in Instagram camera for posting all meals," and crawlspace for comment trolls. Check it out above.
