West Shore Cafe Gets New Executive Chef & GM

Looks like the West Shore Cafe is stealing some cross-Tahoe talent to beef up its restaurant operations. The lakefront spot nabbed both Mike Davis and Stacie Krenicki from Martis Camp, the luxury golf development over by Northstar, to fill West Shore's Executive Chef and General Manager positions. Davis is a man who admits to a slight obsession with Julia Childs during his teenage years, and hopes to introduce some "lighter takes on comfort classics" as well as an improved seafood menu to the Cafe. He'll be looking into infusing cajun flavors from his formative years in New Orleans, where he honed his skills before stints in Seattle and Breckenridge. Meanwhile, Krenicki will be packing up her sizable events and catering experience and applying it to West Shore's healthy wedding schedule.
