After much preservationist ballyhoo about MoMA's decision to demolish its American Folk Art Museum, designed by Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, the museum has started to backpedal. "We're going to try to create the best building we can create," Jerry Speyer, developer and MoMA chairman, told the Times. "Whether we include Folk Art or not, as is, is an open question."
