In celebration of The Wauwinet's 25th Anniversary, "they are tapping the barrel!" The resort, home to TOPPER'S restaurant, has teamed up with Cisco Brewers' Triple Eight Distillery to create their very own firewater. The 10-year-old Woody 25 single malt whisky, named after the inn's antique Chevy, was aged on-island and packs a punch with 44.4% alcohol content. The limited edition (just 200 bottles!) high class hootch is available to those dining at TOPPER'S for $25 a serving or by the 750ml bottle to hotel guests for $250. The Wauwinet and TOPPER'S opened for the season on May 8 and we're guessing Woody 25 sells out faster than you can say, "There once was a whisky from Nantucket."
