The spring shoulder season is all about the multi-sport missions. There's enough snow (in some places) to still ski in the morning, but once the snow turns to a soupy mess in the May sun, it's time to put the flip-flops on and head to the beach (Tahoe), change into waders to go fly-fish (Telluride), or tune up the bike and hit the first of the trails to melt out. Of course, few actually try to bridge the gap between winter and summer in the same exact run, but that didn't stop pro mountain bikers Brett Tippie, Jake Tippie and Graham Agassiz from doing so on a rock quarry in British Columbia. Have any of our readers found a golf course sand trap steep enough to ski?
