In Time For Summer, J-Lo Buys Breezy Hamptons Manse

New, 5 comments

In 2011, Jennifer Lopez was rumored to have dropped some $18M on a beach house in the Hamptons, only to have it come out months later that the deal had crumbled. Today the New York Post reports that J-Lo is again in the process of purchasing a Hamptons estate, just down the road from the house that sparked her interest two years ago. This one's far cheaper, though, last asking $9.995M, and boasts a 8,659-square-foot main house on three acres, a second-story gazebo, sauna, steam room, theater, and pool—all fit for the woman who, after earning $52M in 2012, reigned as No. 1 on Forbes Celebrity 100 list. So, to recap, she's still Jenny from the block, just a ritzy, beachfront block.

Interior details about the eight-bedroom mansion are scant, and the brokerbabble, which emphasizes the estate's privacy, keeps mum: "Pristine Water Mill home totally custom, unlike any other rental. Perfect summer retreat with every amenity ... in an amazing location. Light, bright Hamptons beach house with privacy guaranteed on a secluded cul de sac."

Still, listing photos show off interiors that are, oddly enough, a lot like her streamlined California digs that were once featured in Veranda. Her new place is also a subtle, pristine study in pale blue and taupe. Have a look above.
