Count the Wegner Chairs in This Stunningly Minimalist Salon

Modern architecture can be found in all corners of Japan, from Starbucks to micro homes, perfume factories to earthquake-relief shelters. Add this to the mix: End...Link, an incredibly sparse (and rather intriguingly named) Osaka hair salon designed by Yasunari Tsukada. Intended to be "the last word in beauty," the long, narrow space, a rental, is also the last word in Hans Wegner Wishbone chairs, uniform wooden lattices, and the sort of Zen lost on most other salons that try for the high-design thing.
