NH"s Waterville Valley Planning Expansion

New Hampshire's Waterville Valley ski area is planning its first expansion in 25 years onto nearby Green Peak to the skier's right of the Valley Run high speed quad. The Forest Service is currently seeking public comment on the expansion, which would build 44 acres of beginner and intermediate terrain along with a new glade and high speed quad all within land that's already been permitted for ski area operations.

Waterville Valley is majority owned by New Hampshire politician Chris Sununu and his family, who bought the mountain from Booth Creek Holdings in 2011. Want to lend your $0.02 on the project? Public comment details are available here.
