Two weeks after Mattel opened the world's first life-size Barbie Dreamhouse in Florida, the toy giant has taken heat from protesters in Berlin, where a second Dreamhouse has also opened. According to Design Boom, "The attraction has been receiving much criticism from feminists who are saying that it is a display of sexism. [...] Many of the interactive activities available for people to engage in [...] are delivering the wrong messages about body image [...] and offer a very one-sided view of what the female's role within our society should be."
