Housing Market

Feel free to blame the weather: "The Barnstable County Registry of Deeds reported Monday that sales volume dropped 5.6 percent in the year-over-year comparison with last April, while the median sales price dropped to $280,000 — a decline of 4.2 percent from a year earlier." Or leave Mother Nature out of it: "...inventory of residential properties on the local market has been considerably lower this year. In March, there were 2,505 properties on the market, down from 2,932 in March 2012." On the upside, foreclosures are way down. [Cape Cod Times]
